Who we are
Excel and Serve is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Excel and Serve was founded in 2024 and officially recognized in 2025. We are dedicated to supporting special education teachers through a microgrant program to aid in classroom supplies and students by providing accommodating STEM kits. We also allow our platform to uplift and elevate artwork from scholars with learning disabilities; all artwork will receive a $50 stipend. Beyond this, we aim to allow high school students to contribute to our ambassador program, where they can advocate for disability awareness within their schools and collaborate with other ambassadors.

Bridging the gap between general and special education by equipping teachers and students with the resources, and tools they need to create inclusive, equitable learning environments for all learners. In particular, we hope to increase the number of students with learning disabilities within STEM fields.

The “Why?”: Every child regardless of ability deserves the chance to learn, it is our responsibility as society, schools and educators to provide the ability to these vulnerable communities.
